Monday (25/09/2023), the Dean of the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries Sciences, Hasanuddin University invited an ISO Consultation for the Implementation of an Integrated Management System. The ISO systems included are SNI ISO 21001:2018, SNI ISO 27001:2016, SNI ISO 37001, and SNI ISO 45001:2018. In this activity, two resource persons from ISO Consultants were presented, namely Mr. Anis and Mr. Iwan. Also present at this ISO Coaching activity was the Head of the Quality Assurance and Reputation Improvement Unit, the Secretary of the Quality Assurance and Reputation Improvement Unit, the Head of the Capture Fisheries Study Program, the ISO Coordinator, the Head of the Integrity Zone Team (ZI), and the Head of the Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Team.
The Integration System referred to in this activity is the entire management system which includes organizational structure, plans, responsibilities, procedures, processes and resources for the development, implementation, achievement & maintenance of organizational policies or direction. “The system is like interlocking gears, it moves because other parts also move,” said Pak Anis.
The system development stages start from an initial study that has been carried out by the consultant team in relation to identifying document needs and coordinating with related parties. The stages of developing an integrated management system document will be carried out starting from the process owner interview process, drafting SOPs and forms, final draft, document discussion meeting, and document approval. There are several documents required at the faculty level such as curriculum development, development of RPS, re-registration & filling in KRS, preparation of lecture schedules, lectures, assessment of learning outcomes, practical work/internships/KKN, final assignments, judiciary & graduation registration, handling grade objections, academic leave, monitoring student study periods, implementing K3, implementing integrity zones (WBK & WBBM), managing reading rooms, and maintaining learning infrastructure.
Based on the presentation of the presenters and the results of discussions with ISO consultants, the Dean of FIKP is committed to developing an integrated management system document and trying to apply this system to a study program within the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries Sciences. The presence of the Head of the Capture Fisheries Study Program provides a signal and readiness to implement an integrated management system. “To follow up on the results of this activity, a team will be formed to prepare an integrated management system document from the Quality Assurance and Reputation Improvement Unit and the Capture Fisheries Study Program. Hopefully this document can be completed well and can be applied to this study program,” said the Dean of FIKP.
