Makassar, July 16, 2024 – PT SAI Global, a leading company in the field of certification and quality assessment, has conducted an external quality audit of the ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System at the Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries. The audit was conducted by a team of external auditors, namely Jarot W. and accompanied by Prof. Dr. Nunuk, M.Si. This team of auditors has the task of ensuring the quality management system at FIKP is in accordance with international standards. This audit is part of the faculty’s commitment in maintaining high quality standards and meeting international requirements.

During the audit process, the auditor team conducted an in-depth examination of various aspects of the quality management system, including production processes, documentation, and implementation of policies and procedures at the Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries. Based on the audit results, SAI Global concluded that the Faculty of Marine Sciences and Fisheries, Hasanuddin University has successfully maintained high quality standards and fulfilled all ISO 9001:2015 requirements. However, the auditor team also provided several recommendations for further improvement, such as improving documentation in some parts of the process and increasing training for new employees and increasing the security of the Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries databases.
