Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries held a meeting to adjust the risk mapping in the work unit at the Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries. This activity was held on September 24, 2024 at the Quality Assurance and Reputation Improvement Cluster Room, 3rd Floor, FIKP Dean’s Building. The meeting was attended by the Dean and Vice Deans of FIKP, Chairman and Secretary of GPMPR, Head of Administration, and Heads of Subdivisions within the Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries, ISO Coordinator, and Dr. Firman, S.Pi., M.Si. who has attended risk management training.
Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries is preparing to adjust its risk map to face future challenges. This initiative is part of the faculty’s efforts to ensure the sustainability and smooth operation of academic, research, and community services.
The initial step in preparing risk management adjustments is to form a work team consisting of participants who have attended training in risk management and representatives from all work units in FIKP. Each of these work units will be responsible for conducting an initial assessment of potential risks that could affect faculty activities. Not only internal risks, this team will also consider external factors such as regulatory changes, environmental conditions, and technological developments.
As part of the preparation, FIKP will hold a series of activities related to risk map adjustment for all work units. This activity is focused on increasing capacity in identifying risks and developing effective mitigation strategies. With these activities, it is expected that all elements of the faculty have a better understanding of the importance of risk management and are able to apply it in various aspects of academic and operational activities.
