Dissemination of Internal Quality Audit Instruments (AMI)

Wednesday, March 29 2023, the Quality Assurance and Reputation Improvement Group (GPMPR) of the Faculty of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Sciences (FIKP) held an Internal Quality Audit Instrument Socialization which took place in the GPMPR Room, 3rd Floor, New Building FIKP Unhas. This activity was attended by all Heads of Study Programs at the Bachelor, Masters and Doctoral levels. Internal quality audit itself is a systematic, independent, and documented process to obtain audit evidence and evaluate it objectively to determine the extent to which audit criteria have been met, or a systematic, independent, and documented testing process to ensure the implementation of activities in Higher Education is according to procedures. and the results are in accordance with the standards to achieve the goals of the institution. In order to improve quality and ensure accountability for the implementation of the tridharma of Higher Education, LPMPP annually makes improvements to the Internal Quality Audit Instrument based on identification of findings or non-compliance with standards. The Head of the FIKP GPMPR in the socialization activity said “This AMI instrument still needs improvement, because there are still many previous instruments that have not accommodated the data needed for the study program accreditation documents”. For example, the accreditation agencies BAN-PT, LAM-PTKes, and LAMSAMA have different instruments for assessment, therefore the AMI instrument must adapt to the accreditation data needs of each existing study program. The implementation of AMI in each faculty is carried out at the end of each semester and we hope that input from the heads of study programs is highly expected if there are additions or reductions to the data needed to perfect the AMI instrument “said the Chairperson of the GPMPR”.
