The Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries (FIKP), Hasanuddin University, organized a LAMPTIP Accreditation Workshop on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the 2nd Floor Meeting Room (Ruang Sidang Lantai 2), FIKP UNHAS. The event was officially opened by the Dean of FIKP UNHAS, Prof. Dr. Mahatma ST., M.Sc. This workshop is part of the faculty’s efforts to strengthen the preparation for study program accreditation, particularly in fulfilling accreditation instruments and continuously improving quality in accordance with LAMPTIP standards.
The activity was attended by the Head and Secretary of the Quality Assurance and Reputation Enhancement Unit (GPMPR), the Head and Secretary of the Department of Marine Science and Fisheries, as well as Heads of Study Programs and Task Force (TKM) teams from the Bachelor’s Program in Fishery Product Technology, Bachelor’s Program in Fisheries Agribusiness, Master’s Program in Marine Science, Master’s Program in Fisheries Science, and Doctoral Program in Fisheries Science.
The workshop covered several key topics, including accreditation policies for study programs, registration procedures, as well as the completion of accreditation forms and supporting instruments for LAMPTIP accreditation. In addition, participants received technical guidance on preparing supporting data, mapping performance indicators, and strategies for meeting accreditation standards comprehensively.
The discussion was highly interactive, focusing on aligning understanding among study programs in preparing valid, complete, and compliant accreditation documents. The session also emphasized the importance of coordination and collaboration among units to ensure the success of the accreditation process.
In his opening remarks, the Dean of FIKP emphasized that improving institutional quality and reputation is a shared commitment of all academic members, particularly in facing study program accreditation processes. Through this workshop, it is expected that all study programs within FIKP UNHAS will be better prepared for LAMPTIP accreditation and achieve optimal results in enhancing the quality of education, research, and community service.
